The Coweta-Fayette EMC Trust hosted its inaugural scholarship dinner on April 14 at the Coweta-Fayette EMC Headquarters, celebrating the achievements and bright futures of local students. The evening was marked by inspiration and recognition, as CEO Chris Stephens honored each recipient by highlighting their academic accomplishments, dedication to community service and plans for the future.

A total of 22 students received scholarships, including seven $1,000 technical scholarships for students attending West Georgia Technical College and Clayton State University and 15 $3,000 Melissa Segars scholarships. Recipients represented the region, with 13 students from Coweta County, eight from Fayette County and one from Heard County.
