Electric Vehicles (EVs)

Electric vehicles (EVs) are a “hot item” in the auto world, with many auto manufacturers offering at least one model. Improved versions are on the near horizon, too, for good reason. Electric vehicles provide environmental advantages and, even though they may carry a higher price tag initially, tax credits and lower operating costs often balance out the initial investment.

Do You Qualify For EV Incentives?

We’re committed to embracing and encouraging the utilization of these green technologies and finding ways to assist our members in using these in their everyday life. That’s why we’re excited to announce our Drive Free for A Year Plug-in Electric Vehicle (EV) Program.

Qualified members who lease or purchase a new plug-in 100 percent EV, could qualify for a monthly credit on their power bill to cover the cost of charging the EV for one year. *

“We know our members who purchase 100 percent EVs do so because they’re environmentally conscious and appreciate the lower commute costs compared to those in regular gas-powered vehicles,” said Jimmy Adams, Vice President of Energy Services. “With our Drive Free for A Year Program these savings are even greater by eliminating charging costs for 12 months as well.”

$100.00 rebate for the installation of a Level 2 (240volt) NRTL/UL approved electric vehicle charging station.
