COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) recognized three distinguished individuals for excellence in communication and leadership during its annual institute, held June 1–3, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Chellie Phillips, vice president of communications and public relations at Coweta-Fayette EMC, based in Palmetto, Ga., was honored with the 2025 H.E. Klinefelter Award. Since 1959, the award has recognized cooperative communicators whose work is deemed outstanding by their peers.
A nationally recognized speaker, best-selling author, and corporate trainer, Phillips has published multiple books on corporate culture, communication, and professional growth. Her work has been featured at national conferences, corporate workshops and on more than 50 podcasts, reinforcing her role as a leading voice in the cooperative-communicator community.
