Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation Raises Over $32,000 at Annual Clay Shoot
PALMETTO, GA, September 30, 2025 – Coweta-Fayette EMC’s (CFEMC) Operation Round Up Foundation hosted its fifth annual Clays for Community Sporting Clay Shoot on Friday, September 19 at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, Georgia.
Thanks to the incredible support of our local community, this year’s clay shoot tournament raised over $32,000—our most successful event to date! All proceeds help provide grants to non-profits and enhance educational opportunities for local students through CFEMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation.
The successful event included participation from 23 teams competing to give back to the community. Overall winners include: First Place: Newnan Utilities; Second Place: GridCo; Third Place: FirstBank.
The Foundation was able to raise money from proceeds in the form of sponsorships and donations directly from local businesses/individuals, including CoBank, Gresco, Family of Companies, Brent Scarbrough, EverVision, Trilith, True Natural Gas, Chick-Fil-A, Pepsi, Go Energy Credit Union, FirstBank, Leidos, Tri-Copy Office Equipment, Greystone, Vantage Point Solutions, Pike Engineering, Piedmont Fayette, Piedmont Newnan, GridCo, Carroll EMC, and Newnan Utilities.
Since its inception, Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation has distributed more than $6.2 million in assistance to those in need within our local communities

Founded in 1993, Operation Found Up offers Coweta-Fayette EMC members the opportunity to “round up” their bill to the next highest dollar amount, with the difference being contributed to a fund which is awarded to various individuals and organizations in need.
