Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up Hosts Successful 1st Annual Sporting Clay Shoot

PALMETTO, GA, September 9, 2021 – Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation hosted its 1st Annual Sporting Clay Shoot on Friday, August 27 at Big Red Oak Plantation in Gay, Georgia.


The tournament raised over $27,000 to help provide grants to non-profits and enhance educational opportunities to local students through CFEMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation.


More than 30 sponsors and 18 teams from the local community contributed to the success of the event, including Coweta-Fayette EMC, True Natural Gas, Radiance Solar, Asplundh Construction, PLC INC. Coweta-Fayette EMC’s Operation Round Up Foundation celebrated 27 years in 2020, and since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $5.3 million in assistance to those in need within our local communities.

Founded in 1993, Operation Found Up offers Coweta-Fayette EMC members the opportunity to “round up” their bill to the next highest dollar amount, with the difference being contributed to a fund which is awarded to various individuals and organizations in need.
