Letter from the President

Welcome to Coweta-Fayette EMC – Where You’re More Than a Customer

We’re so glad you’re part of Coweta-Fayette EMC. You are not just a customer, you are a member-owner of our cooperative. You are now part of an organization that’s been powering homes and businesses across our growing communities for over 80 years. From the beginning, our mission has been simple: to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable electricity—and to do it with a personal touch that reflects the values of the people we serve.

As a not-for-profit cooperative, everything we do is focused on you—our member. That means keeping rates competitive, investing in reliability and safety, and building a team that lives and works right here in your community. Our employees and board members are your neighbors. We listen, we care, and we’re always looking for ways to serve you better.

One of the benefits of being a co-op member is having a voice. You’re not just paying a power bill—you’re helping guide the direction of your electric provider. We encourage you to reach out to your board representatives or our office at any time with your questions, ideas, or concerns. Your input helps us improve and grow stronger together. We’ve also made it easier than ever for you to participate in your cooperative’s governance through our convenient drive-thru annual meeting and member appreciation event each fall. It’s just one more way we’re adapting to your needs while keeping member engagement strong.

As you explore our website, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to discover all the services and information available to you. From energy efficiency tips to outage updates to additional offerings like True Natural Gas, we’re committed to making your experience with us as helpful and seamless as possible.

Thank you for trusting us to power your home or business. We’re honored to serve you—and we’re always just a phone call or message away.

Sincerely,
Chris Stephens, CEO
