Business Brief: Coweta-Fayette EMC Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Palmetto, GA—Feb. 13, 2015—Stanley Sitzler, of Newnan, former Senior Vice President of Administrative Services at Coweta-Fayette EMC, has recently been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the cooperative.

 

“I appreciate this opportunity and look forward to serving Coweta-Fayette EMC and its members,” he said.

 

Sitzler, who has been with the EMC since 1978, began his co-op career as a student in the engineering department. He has served as Staking Engineer, Engineering Assistant and Chief Dispatcher, Operations Supervisor and District Office Manager, among many other positions.

 

“Stanley has served in numerous roles throughout his career, developing an extensive knowledge base of our operations that will help guide us as we move forward,” said cooperative CEO Chris Stephens. “Stanley has proven to be dependable, honest and a respected member of the senior staff. He is a true asset to Coweta-Fayette EMC.”
