Coweta-Fayette EMC Launches “In The Loop” Podcast

Coweta-Fayette EMC launched a new podcast called, “In The Loop” on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The new podcast features a new segment every month with relevant information about our consumer-owned cooperative.

 

On the first episode, Coweta-Fayette EMC employees Jacob Manus and Rachel Camp explain the ins and outs of an Electric Membership Cooperative, including the history and current operations. Manus and Camp also explore all the ways in which EMC’s differ from their for-profit competitors.

On the second episode, listeners get the opportunity to hear more about Coweta-Fayette EMC energy efficient programs ranging from SmartChoice New & Existing Home to SmartChoice Solar with Energy Services Manager Scott Lee, including low-cost, high impact energy saving tips.

On the third episode, Coweta-Fayette EMC Linemen discuss what a typical day is like in their dynamic role. They’ll be covering everything from training to storm restoration. Featured employees: Andrew Collins, Barry Wallace, Jake Kirbo and Terry Jones. “A Day in the Life of a Coweta-Fayette EMC Lineman” will air on Monday, March 15, 2021.
