Operation Round Up Vision, Mission and Purpose

Together, we do make a difference!

ORU Vision

Neighbors looking out for other neighbors founded by Coweta-Fayette EMC. Today, we operate on that same principal in every community we serve, through a variety of programs that impact everyone from the youngest school child to the elderly on fixed incomes and those with special medical needs. And it’s our members who can take credit for the difference made in the lives of so many others.

ORU Mission

The mission of Coweta Fayette EMC’s Trust is to assist in strengthening the communities served by Coweta Fayette EMC, including Coweta County, Fayette County, and other service area counties served by CFEMC. The Trust will accomplish this mission by providing financial assistance to selected individuals and nonprofit charitable organizations to meet their needs through the CFEMC’s Trust Operation Round Up program

Operation Round-Up

The pennies you contribute each month to Operation Round-Up, when combined with the pennies of thousands of other members, have resulted in changed lives. Founded in 1993, the program offers Coweta-Fayette EMC members the opportunity to literally “round up” their bill to the next highest dollar, with the difference being contributed to a fund which is awarded to various individuals and organizations in need. Managed by the Coweta-Fayette Trust Board as a not-for-profit organization, Round-Up allots funds bi-monthly based on need; board members individually review applications that have been received at the EMC offices.

This is a voluntary program and our members can sign up or opt out at any time by completing the following application or by contacting a Customer Service Representative at 770-502-0226.
